An adult education program for East Side commercial building owners is taking applications for its tuition-free classes, which will teach landlords and community members how to plan and implement a real estate development project.
The 2021 Community-Based Real Estate Development Training program – which is funded by the state, along with local banks and foundations – is a 23-week venture that gives its students an overview of real estate development, including pre-development, construction management, property management and obtaining financing from both public and private sources. It will run from March 3-Aug. 4, 2021.
