Chalmers Site Development Plans Detailed, Restaurateur Unveiled

Amsterdam – KCG Development and local officials provided detailed plans for the proposed multi-million dollar mixed-use redevelopment of the former Chalmers Knitting Mills site, including the Lanzi family’s return to the South Side.

Amsterdam Mayor Michael Villa held a media briefing in his office at city hall Thursday morning to provide additional information about the proposed residential and commercial development at the former Chalmers site, adjacent to the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook.
