Chatham eyes $9.7M school capital project

CHATHAM — Voters will decide the fate of a $9.7 million capital improvement project the Chatham school board proposed to address major infrastructure repairs and overhaul the district’s security system during the budget vote in May.

If the project is approved, infrastructure repairs will be made in all five district buildings: Chatham High School; Chatham Middle School; Mary E. Dardess Elementary School; and the transportation center and library, located at 11 Woodbridge Ave., which adjoins the Chatham Middle School.
