Rebecca Vincheski says she can hardly believe her eyes when she walks through the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club clubhouse on 17th Street these days.
“I walk through the building and still can’t believe it’s the same building,” she said. “It’s amazing to see this happening.”
Vincheski, the club’s chief professional officer, is referring to the results of a $1.25 million renovation project that was designed to make the sure the facility, which has served kids in the Falls for close to six decades, will be around for another 60 years. The plan for the renovation actually started to come together about four years ago, when Vincheski arrived at the club.
