In-demand: Annual DOT clinic will answer truck questions for farmers and commercial drivers

GAINESVILLE — “It’s easier to educate than it is to enforce.”

When organizers set up the first-ever DOT Clinic about 25 years ago, they didn’t realize how in-demand it would be.  They were expecting maybe 25 people. But more than 75 showed up for the session that updates participants on rules and regulations for commercial drivers. Registration is underway for this year’s clinic, which will be conducted March 2 at Marquart Repair & Equipment Sales.
