SUPERVISOR: Town has laid down necessary infrastructure to support projects
PLATTSBURGH — The Town of Plattsburgh is eyeing a huge wave of development this year. “We are seeing an historic amount of items before our Planning Board this month,” Town Supervisor Michael Cashman said.
Several projects on tap for approval add up to more than 100,000-square feet of development Cashman said.
At the head of the list is a 60,000-square-foot building for a manufacturing site for Medisca, on Banker Road near Route 374.
According to its web site, Medisca “is present throughout the world, sourcing and securing high-quality products that conform to the latest editions of USP, BP, EP and other compendial pharmacopeias. We take pride in the opportunity to make an important contribution to the quality of medication compounded in laboratories and pharmacies across the world.”
