A site plan has been approved for the new retail store that will be located at the corner of Winsor and Crescent streets.
Tara Mathis, The Broadway Group development manager, presented the site plans for the proposed new Dollar General to the Jamestown Planning Commission at a meeting earlier this week.
Mathis said the proposed store will be 91,000 square feet that will serve the daily needs of the surrounding community. She said city officials emphasized the importance of making the area around the store walkable to account for pedestrian customers, so the site plans for the store are pedestrian friendly. She added that there will be 25 parking spots available at the store.
