Rochester airport construction forcing fliers to plan ahead

When the Greater Rochester International Airport project is complete in October you won’t have to worry about getting wet when you walk from the parking garage to the airport. That means, however, some inconvenience over the next six months.

“It’s almost easier when you come here a lot, you get picked up in the same places, you have your basics down,” Patricia Leunis of Switzerland said.

Leunis is a regular at the airport in Rochester. This native of Switzerland comes regularly to visit her daughter a student at the Eastman School of Music. She is familiar with the airport layout and knows just where to go. But come Friday that all changes.
