Route 30a Construction Estimated To Last Until The Fall

FULTONVILLE — Drivers may experience traffic delays along Route 30A due to ongoing construction that is expected to last until fall.

The state construction project is being done to improve the reliability and seal pavement to keep the section of road between the Fultonville thruway exit on Riverside Drive and Route 30A in Fonda in proper condition for the next 10 years.

According to Jim Piccola, public information officer for New York State Department of Transportation, construction plans with Peckham Road Corp, prime contractor, include milling out three inches of asphalt and replacing it with two one and a half inch lifts of asphalt.
