Scriba town board hears development concerns

SCRIBA — A Town Board meeting in Scriba Wednesday night turned into a sounding board for Carson Drive and other residents to protest the so-called “scope change” in the make-up of residents of an upcoming apartment complex.

Champlain Commons will be a 56-unit apartment complex in Scriba adjacent to Carson Drive, being developed by Rochester firm The Cornerstone Group. Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) will own the development and 17 of the units will be earmarked for high-need residents.
