Empire State Development marks completion of local effort
HORNELL — Empire State Development (ESD) announced Wednesday that industrial services manufacturer supplier Strobels Supply has completed its expansion project in the City of Hornell.
The company acquired and moved into a 45,000 square-foot facility located in Shawmut Industrial Park from its former, longtime, Airport Road location. The move will allow the successful company to create up to 10 new jobs, while 19 jobs will be retained. Strobels Supply is now fully operational at the new location.
“Strobels Supply’s decision to expand in Steuben County will create new jobs and opportunity, reflecting New York State’s commitment to supporting and growing the economy in the Southern Tier,” said Empire State Development President, CEO and Commissioner Howard Zemsky.
