Three developments are poised to takeover the site of the former Wambach’s Garden Center in Irondequoit — a senior living center, a workforce housing complex and a gas station.
The garden center, at 2590 Culver Road and just south of Route 104, permanently closed in March 2018.
Here’s more on the status of the three separate projects planned for the property:
Senior housing center
Earlier this year, Irondequoit’s Town Board approved plans to build a senior living facility on the easternmost portion of the former Wambach property. Plans call to construct a three-story building to house 80 units on a 6.7-acre parcel of the property, said Town Supervisor Dave Seeley.
