The Penn Yan Fire Department has taken delivery of 32 new Scott Air Pack units purchased with a $210,285.71 federal grant.
“We care about ensuring the safety of our firefighters and want to make sure they can do their jobs safely,” U.S. Rep. Tom Reed said when the grant was announced last fall. “This grant provides funding to help keep these first responders safe and will allow them to operate effectively. We will continue to support our first responders in any way we can.”
