March 12 celebration planned for travel center development off I-86
BELMONT — The foundation is in and the walls are up, and on Wednesday, construction crews were at work putting the roof on the new Quicklee’s travel center off I-86 outside Belmont.
With the project coming along, the Allegany County Industrial Development Agency is planning a March 12 event to celebrate the project, a longtime goal of county officials that is now coming to fruition. The Quicklee’s travel center will feature a fueling station for motorists and tractor trailers, and a food franchise is expected to accompany the development.
