Le Roy proposes new capital project

BACK TO THE VOTERS: Modified proposal includes two propositions at a lower price
By MALLORY DIEFENBACH

LE ROY — After a failed capital project vote in October, Le Roy Central School has revised its proposed project into two different propositions.

The propositions seek to meet the essential infrastructure needs and provide program enhancements at both the Wolcott and Jr.-Sr. High schools.

“Obviously we were disappointed with the result of our capital project vote back on Oct. 28,” said Superintendent Merritt Holly in a video. “With that being said, we’ve taken the feedback from our community, and the facilities committee got right to work putting together plans to come up with two revised propositions.”
